A truly bright spark – Philip is the light bulb of our organisation. Responsible for the Accounting and Taxation division of Business Lighthouse his passion for microBoard strategic thinking has him playing a vital role in guiding our clients towards business success.
Philip’s expertise in the financial management and reporting of not-for-profit organisations means he is also well sought-after. Philip is the Treasurer for World Relief Australia Inc. and The New Peninsula Baptist Church and he has been the driving force between our charitable vision and partnerships.
Here’s a little ice-breaker for you: Philip is a weather nut – in fact he used to brief pilots on weather patterns and dreams of being a storm-chaser in the USA. That’s why he’s perfect for being a navigator for businesses!
Angela is responsible for the Bookkeeping and Business Systems division. She is an experienced accountant with over 12 years working knowledge within the business, corporate, and education and not-for-profit sectors. Angela can talk to anyone with interest and loves finding the common ground to set you at ease – she used to work with communities from diverse backgrounds and is the first to welcome a new face through the door. She even has a Grad Diploma in Intercultural Studies!
Angela loves working with start-ups and flourishing business. A natural teacher Angela is a specialist on one-on-one training and is motivated by watching clients gain confidence as they master new business systems.
A little known fact is that Angela love doing jigsaws – which is why she’s perfect at looking at all the individual pieces of a business puzzle and streamlining systems for business owners to feel in control.
Lance is a keen and enthusiastic accountant. He focuses on taxation, accounting and bookkeeping tasks and has a head and heart for start-up businesses and entrepreneurs.
Lightning Lance (as he’s known around the office) is fast and efficient. He loves researching new legislation; he flies through work at productive speeds and is constantly updating us and our clients on innovative changes.
Lance is our resident tech head and software guru, offering valuable insight to our clients looking for the latest updates in software improvements.
With an eye for vision in design, in his spare time Lance loves his laser cutter. He makes model 3D buildings to challenge the next generation of 3D board gamers and he inspires our clients to give new systems and technology a go.
Every business needs a Jennifer. She assists in bookkeeping and compliance tasks as well as being an inventory systems specialist and trainer. Jennifer has over 15 years’ experience working in the corporate sector and with small business.
With a keen attention to detail –Jennifer passes on this insight and experience to our clients. She can dot the i’ and cross the t’s like nobody’s business, except with Jennifer in your office, she does it for your business with passion.
Jennifer knows what it is like to have a small business as she also manages her own with her husband. She’s very family oriented, she loves the Mornington Peninsula environment she lives in, and always sweeps us up in the joy of working where we live.
Freda is our resident marketer with a vast experience across manufacturing and marketing industries including iconic brand Quicksilver. Freda combines creativity and strategic planning with jet-blasts of energy and new ideas when building up clients’ businesses.
Freda is a marketing whirlwind with far-reaching networks to help connect and grow your business vision. Her event and project co-ordination skills are highly regarded, and we’re pretty chuffed that she shares her experience and event knowledge with our clients and our Business Lighthouse events. Meticulous about event presentation and logistics, branding, visual presentation and tone of voice, Freda is a committed lighthouse keeper of our vision and yours.
